Leap year

2024 will be a leap year. A further 366 days are added to the year instead of the 360. This adds one day to make up for the day that was lost. Leap year are used to make sure that Earth’s orbit is aligned with the sun by bringing the months closer to each other. The site is still using Gregorian dates. The academic year previously began in September and ended at the end of October. The new calendar will allow the academic year to start in September 2023 or August 2023 and conclude in the month of October or November 2024. The academic year 2024 will begin in October or November. It is unlikely to be a significant pandemic. The cycle may repeat itself in the subsequent years. In 2025 the academic calendar will begin between January and October.
